Installation Guide

Install the App

Choose your operating system and follow the instructions:

🖥️ Windows Run the .exe installer file. The app will open automatically after installation.
🍎 macOS Open the .dmg file and drag the AbleTrono icon into your Applications folder.

🔑 Activation: When opening the app for the first time, you will be asked for your License Key. Use it to activate your copy.

Configure Ableton Live

  1. Open (or restart) Ableton Live.
  2. Go to Preferences (Ctrl + , on Windows or Cmd + , on Mac).
  3. Go to the "Link / Tempo / MIDI" tab.
  4. Under the "Control Surface" column, find and select:
AbletronoApp

⚠️ Important: Leave the "Input" and "Output" ports set to None. Do not select anything there.

Connect your Tablet

  1. Make sure your PC/Mac and your device are connected to the SAME WiFi network.
  2. In the AbleTrono desktop app, you will see an IP address (Example: http://192.168.1.5:3001).
  3. Type that exact address into your Tablet or Mobile browser.
http://YOUR_IP:3001

All set! The control interface will load automatically.
